Bees airways prefer other sources of pollen they only go after dandelions as a last resort. Quaking Aspen might provide fast shade, but I wouldn’t plant one on purpose since they have other issues in the landscape. Aspens sucker badly from their many exposed roots, and they can damage house foundations if planted too closely to a house as well as damage asphalt parking lots.
