HERNDON, Va. – PLANET has created two new awards that will showcase the skills and entrepreneurial spirit of outstanding industry professionals. The Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award will recognize an outstanding female in the landscape industry who has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative. The Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award will recognize a landscape industry professional, age 30 or under, who has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative and is an example to students and other young professionals in the early stages of a landscape industry career. Applications are being accepted through Aug. 15, 2014, and the awards will be presented at PLANET’s Great Escape event in February 2015.
