NALP Announces Newest Foundation Ambassadors

HERNDON, Va. — The National Association of Landscape Professionals has recently named new Ambassadors to the Foundation. Each of the following ambassadors pledged $25,000 to award scholarships to students enrolled in landscape contracting and/or horticulture programs at two-year or four-year colleges and universities:
- Jack Ingels Scholarship—Brett Lemcke, R.M. Landscape Inc., Hilton, New York, and Phill Sexton, WIT Companies, Albany, New York
- Stephen Hillenmeyer Landscape Services Scholarship—Stephen Hillenmeyer, Hillenmeyer Landscape Services, Lexington, Kentucky
“On behalf of the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation, I want to thank our newest Ambassadors for their generous support of the next generation of industry leaders and for helping us to reach further milestones,” said Miles Kuperus, LIC, Foundation president.
The Foundation is more than halfway through its five-year campaign to raise the fund balance from $2 million to $5 million. To date, the fund has grown to $4.1 million.
